It's sad to me that there's a generation of Americans that see this concept as novel and new. Nowhere was more cozy and connected than the dinner table at my grandmother's house.
But then again, maybe we could see a return to connectedness. Maybe after a couple generations of faces glued to phones, we could see people reject that isolation.
