Waiting for the Moment

Sorry, fj! Couldn't reply before.

Not having my laptop has both its pros and cons. It has increased my productivity as a writer but at the same time it has made it difficult for me to stay connected.

Twice i tried to leave a comment from a cell phone - my aunt's - and both times i gave up.

I just finished a prose piece. It's something in between what i had been writing till now and what i plan to do in the future ... something less formal, less structured than a short-story, something along the lines of Kafka's "First sorrow" or "A hunger Artist" ... I have a couple of good ideas, only if i can develop them.

I am glad you are taking time out for binge watching. I do that when i go to my brother's house. He has both Netflix and Amazon Prime. But i like old Hindi movies and they don't have many of them.

I have mailed to you the piece i was just talking about. Please make time to read it. I would love to have your opinion. But please remember it's an experimental piece and might still need some editing as well. Thanks.

An interesting piece with such interesting characters! Are you sure that Rhino is not the "possessed/ possessing" one? ;)

It reminds me of my own dog, Charlotte. I take her for walks the moment I arise, and as my last duty before going to bed. Our walks last 10 minutes at most... I generally take her over to an apartment complex with a small drainage pond and many well-landscaped commons. There, she behaves very much as Pammi's dog... although she's much smaller. We do come across the occasional fox, deer, and/or terrapin. If I'm feeling ambitious, we walk around the pond, step over the chain blocking the drive blocking the driveway into the now-closed landfill, and follow the gravel road to the local water tower, reading the ground for tracks of the latest animals to pass through.

Anyways, I hope you develop it more. Is Pilot Baba the incarnation of Hanuman? I can only wonder!

Namaste.

Lol. Now I think you should have written 'Charlotte's Dog', your description is so much better than mine. :)
