and i'm not really a fan of ANYthing goes. The most I've witnessed was on Bourbon Street with people of all ages drinking at noon and all kinds of bodily fluids on the street, etc. I have never understood why people consider that 'fun'.
New Orleans isn't really my kind of city, other than the good food.
I suppose that's why people wear masks at mardis gras... so they can be (and "enjoy") "themselves" and not "perform for others"... or something like that. ;)

ahhh, kinda makes me miss New Orleans....
There was a big photography shindig this weekend, PhotoNOLA. I might try to go next year.
You can rent a purple leisure suit!
I'm sure I'd fit right in!
I've only been twice, but I get the feeling that anything goes.
...sounds kinda camera "unfriendly"...
Photo NOLA?
Yes, "anything goes", but the presence of the camera inhibiting the "anything" part?
Forced to "act" (and not be ones-self) for the camera...
LOL good point.
i was just referring to the sense of 'anything goes' in New Orleans, in general. :p
