This is a remake of a Sinead O'Connor song. Her death was and is such a sad thing. Her music was an important part of my recovery process. I think she was greatly misunderstood and underestimated.
I was thinking that it was an orginal and result of Amanda's separation. Perhaps she just felt it appropriate though. I'll have to look for the Sinead OConnor version.
It's funny how much you connect with songs when you are in a "relatable" frame of mind. Mine was "retirement". I was trying to put my "achievement" demons to rest. The one's that tell you, "keep going! You should do more!"
...but now having seen Oppenheimer though, I was more struck with...this.
I wasn't doing it for me. I was doing it for them.

I imagine it's perfectly relatable. Heartbreaking song...
