I was flipping through the channels the other day and caught the last hour+ of "Everything, Everywhere, All at Once." I have to say, I was gobsmacked.
Where did you watch it? Stream it, I mean.
It was in my HBO/Cinemax group... I think. I was surfing, saw it... and immediately got sucked in... saying to myself, "What the _ is THIS?"
ps - The male actor (lead) is Short Round from Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom.
It was on ShowTime again, yesterday.
It's part of our HBO Max package on Verizon FIOS
We have HBO max but it's not available. Bummer.
It's actually not the "best" movie, just wholly different... a kinda Martial Arts/ Sci-Fi "spoof" movie.
A crossover like Cowboys and Aliens.
...and yes, a great metaphor for our current times (the internet experience: everything, everywhere, all at once).
ps - We just finished waatching "The Menu" on HBOmax. I must say, it left me calling for s'more! ;)
