They're so uplifting! We need more life-affirming music in the world...or maybe I just don't know where to find it. I'm drawn to the depressing stuff! :p
Seems more "spiritually" open-Christian... a return to "The Ladder" and "Magnification". So, as "corny" as this music is, "yes". It's probably something I'll play over and over on CD in the background as I commute every day.
There's nothing wrong with corny. ;-) I especially like that last one.
I think I read somewhere that Anderson is a Christian. I've been listening to Twenty One Pilots lately, and while their music is kind of angst-y, there's still always an underlying note of hope.
You might like this. The lyrics with their English meaning. They are by a Sufi poet named Bulleh shah (you can hear the name mentioned in the refrain.)
The second is a little difficult to appreciate w/o the translated text... I didn't grasp the gist until I read he commentary in the last video.
But I really enjoyed the first "supertexted" video and corresponding translations that you provided. I'm going to post them on another site, if you don't mind, with a hat-tip. :)

Do you like this reincarnation of Yes?

I could listen to this all day!
...it just calms the soul.

It's a lot edgier, that's for sure, but with an 'up'-beat.

Very relatable...
...qua, qua, qua!
... ;)
...as I was playing Lucky's monologue (the link), a 21 pilots song came on and started playing on another tab... and they went very well together.

You might also like this, by the same poet. Another rendition of the same song.
