Kodak film... I wonder how much longer it'll exist... July 30, 2014 Kodak is negotiating with movie studios for an annual movie film order guarantee to preserve the last source of movie film manufacturing in the United States
Yes, that character was fantastic. Every time Tom Hanks' character would say, "They're going for the death penalty! Aren't you worried?"...he'd say, "Would it help?" i loved that.
I'm not sure how much longer Kodak film will be around. The factory in NY went under, and I thought it was bought out by Ilford in England. Didn't know there was still manufacturing in the US. I think we're being short-sighted by letting go of film.
You're right, that's what he said! It's what I loved about the character... undaunted. :)
As for film, I would agree. The good news is that if you want your data to be kept private, film is still the best way to go. As soon as it get digitized, it enters the public sphere...

Lovely quote.
We saw Bridge of Spies a few months ago, and I remember thinking how beautiful the texture was in several scenes. It was recorded on Kodak film. :-)
Tom Hanks. Good film. I loved the Russian spy...
