Cool stuff. I like the Future Islands video. I'm stuck on these guys lately.... https://m.youtube.com/?reload=7&rdm=1z9zm34ey#/watch?v=MTrKkqE9p1o https://m.youtube.com/?reload=7&rdm=1z9zm34ey#/watch?v=6EwOOdrx4G0
The links take me to my own Youtube Home pages... but the individual songs are Haul & Oates and Leon Bridges??? (I get those by shortening the URLs posted) I do like Leon Bridges... there's a lot of good new crossover music like Leon Bridges and Alabama Shakes. I especially like "blues/soul" derivatives like Ben Harper & the Innocent Criminals or The Jack Moves...
Sorry about that. I can't remember how to create links. Hall and Oats is comfort food to me. Love Alabama Shakes! Thanks for introducing me to The Jack Moves!! He has an amazing voice.

That genre is really soothing to me lately.
I used to love Curtis Mayfield, Barry White, and Earth, Wind & Fire...
It's a "guilty pleasure" to this day.
...as was Carlos Santana! ;)
Damn. Now I wanna take a joyride and get a new tattoo. ;)
lol!
ps - I just discovered something useful in understanding ducky... you might be interested.
That definitely sheds some light on his love for Goddard. I still haven't seen Breathless. Without The Nerd Writer to explain it, it's lost on me.
I suspect that if anyone wants the ability to break the Brechtian "fourth wall" (ala Godard)... it's ducky. ;)
