A/D Converters

"Analogue photography authenticates the 𝘣𝘦𝘪𝘯𝘨 of what 𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘳𝘦 𝘪𝘴. For the viewer, it bears witness to the 'this-has-been.' It shows us what is 𝘧𝘢𝘤𝘵𝘶𝘢𝘭𝘭𝘺 𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘳𝘦. This-has-been, or such-a-thing-existed, is the 𝘵𝘳𝘶𝘵𝘩 𝘰𝘧 𝘱𝘩𝘰𝘵𝘰𝘨𝘳𝘢𝘱𝘩𝘺. Digital photography destroys 𝘧𝘢𝘤𝘵𝘪𝘤𝘪𝘵𝘺 𝘢𝘴 𝘵𝘳𝘶𝘵𝘩. By eliminating reality as the referent, it 𝘱𝘳𝘰𝘥𝘶𝘤𝘦𝘴 a new reality that does 𝘯𝘰𝘵 𝘦𝘹𝘪𝘴𝘵."

Polaroid

[Verse 1]
Remind me
You know about
All the times we sat upstairs
Those other days
Our other lives
I’d like to see them again
The little bit down beside your bed
The cinnamon smell
It never left

[Chorus]
I thought I’d see you
We’d never be without
The things we’ve been through
I just wanted you around

[Verse 2]
The light stings
I’m waking up
On the floor in your old room
Remember you
Surrounding me
I wanna feel it again
Your leaving
Broke our ways
Chasing a different star
As though you’re
Closing a side of me
You no longer needed us but

[Chorus]
I thought I’d see you
We’d never be without
The things we’ve been through
I just wanted you around
I thought I’d see you
That I’d never be without
Now I don’t feel you anymore

[Bridge]
I wanna be found
You’d come looking for our life
And put it right
Like nothing changed us
Just want a little bit of time

[Chorus]
I thought I’d see you
We’d never be without
The things we’ve been through
I just wanted you around
I thought I’d see you
That I’d never be without
Now I don’t feel you anymore

Anti-Fragile Fragility

If you look behind the curtain of the velvet In your mind there's a frame. And the picture of a world, Sad virtues to fly in the rain. And we see you in clouds, And we see you in dreams, And we curse you in color, And we blanket your screams. And the world is the reason How fragile we are, How fragile we are, How fragile we are. It's a group of beggars Dancing love and life As though it's the last show. And the picture of a rich man Who's poor from the things that he knows And we see you in clouds, And we see you in dreams, And we curse you in color, And we blanket your screams. And the world is the reason How fragile we are, How fragile we are. And we see you in clouds, And we see you in dreams, And we curse you in color, And we blanket your screams. And the world is the reason How fragile we are, How fragile we are. How fragile we are, How fragile we are. How fragile we are.
